M Moniruzzaman

M Moniruzzaman is a flautist from Bangladesh. He trained under the guidance of his father Ustad Abdur Rahman. Apart from playing the flute, Moniruzzaman is also a skilled practitioner of several other wind instruments that include the bansi, silver flute, saxophone, supra-saxophone, recorder and the Chinese flute. He enjoys experimenting with fusion music and performs both on solo recitals and as an accompanying artist. Moniruzzaman has also released three solo albums to date – Shomokal, Egaro and Destination.
