Nishit Dey

Born in 1991, Nisit Dey started receiving tabla lessons from his father and uncle from a very early age. He eventually began taking vocal training from his uncle, Ashit Dey, and later trained to play the sitar from Guru Sheikh Sattar Mohammed till his passing in 2009. Since then, Nisit has been trained in Imdadkhani Gharana and continues his classical music training under Ashim Chowdhury.
