  • Manjusha Patil

    Manjusha Kulkarni-Patil is an Indian classical music vocalist who specialises in the Khayal genre. She was born into a family of music lovers in 1971 in Maharashtra, India. Her lessons started at age twelve from Chintubua Mhaiskar and she underwent extensive training under D.V. Kanebua of the Agra and Gwalior gharanas. She has performed at prestigious music festivals like the Sawai Gandharva Festival, and has received several awards such as the Pandit Jasraj Gaurav Puraskar and Manik Verma Puraskar. Manjusha has a M.A in Music and is a disciple of Pandit Kanebua, and Pandits Vikas and Ulhas Kashalkar.

  • Mashkoor Ali Khan

    Mashkoor Ali Khan was initiated into music and trained for fifteen years by his father, the great sarangi-nawaz Shakoor Khan. After his father's demise, he joined the ITC Sangeet Research Academy as a scholar. Now, as a Guru of the Academy, he nurtures several scholars under his able wings. Mashkoor Ali Khan's career is studded with numerous awards, like the Abhinav Kala Sammelan in 1993, Master Dinanath Mangeshkar Award in 1994 and Swaranjali Award in 1997.

  • Md. Zakir Hosen

    Zakir Hosen, disciple of Ustad Akram Khan, Ustad Hasmat Ali Khan and Pandit Virendra Malviya from New Delhi, has established himself as one of the brightest tabla players of his generation. He is currently performing in various music festivals as a soloist and as an accompanying artist. Zakir Hosen is now an instructor at the University of Dhaka, Wahid Academy of Music and Chhayanaut Sangeet Vidyayatan.

  • Milind Kulkarni

    Milind Kulkarni is a harmonium artist from Maharashtra, India. He trained under the guidance of Pandit Vasantrao Gurav and Pandit Anna Diwan.

  • Minu Haque

    Minu Haque is considered to be one of the leading exponents of classical dance and one of the most creative choreographers in Bangladesh. She specialised in Odissi and trained under the guidance of Sunny Mahaparta and Ipshita Behura from India. Haque also trained in the Manipuri genre under Shantibala Devi. She is the Founder Director of Pallavi Dance Centre, Convenor of Nritya Dhara, President of Bangladesh Dance Artist’s Association, and an Executive Member of the International Theatre Institute (ITI) – Bangladesh Chapter.

  • Mohammed Shoeb

    Mohammad Soheb is a notable vocalist from Bangladesh. He earned his undergraduate and post-graduate degrees in classical vocal music from Rabindra Bharati University, India. Soheb is presently a teacher at the Department of Music, University of Dhaka.

  • Mukundraj Deo

    Mukundraj Deo is considered to be one of the India’s finest Classical tabla artists of the younger generation. He trained under the guidance of Pandit Brijraj Mishra, disciple of Pandit Sharada Sahai of Banaras Gharana, and Pandit Mridangraj of Ajrada Gharana. He has accompanied maestros such as Natraj Gopikrishna, Pandit Birju Maharaj, Dr. Prabha Atre, Begum Parveen Sultana, Ustad Dilshad Khan, Pandit Jasraj, Pandit C R Vyas, Dr. N Rajam, Ustad Raiskhan, Ustad Amjad Ali Khan, Pandit Shivkumar Sharma, Ustad Amjad Ali Khan, Pandit Ramnarayan, Pandit Satish Vyas, Rahul Sharma, Pandit Ronu Majumdar, Ashatai Khadilkar, and many others. Deo is an 'A' grade artist of All India Radio and Doordarshan. He has been awarded with title 'Pandit' by Savarkar Seva Sanstha and was recently awarded with the ‘Pandit Ram Marathe Yuva Kala Puraskar’ by Municipal Corporation of Thane. Deo has participated in many prestigious music festivals in India and overseas, which includes Australia, United Kingdom, Morocco and Seychelles.

  • Munmun Ahmed

    Munmun Ahmed is an esteemed dancer and instructor from Dhaka, Bangladesh. Skilled in the disciplines of kathak, she trained under the guidance of Azhar Khan, Syed Abul Kalam, Ram Mohan Maharaj, Raj Kumar Sharma and Pandit Birju Maharaj. Ahmed is a founding member of Nritya-Dhara, a Cultural and Training Secretary at the Bangladesh Nritya Shilpi Sangstha, and also runs her own dance academy, Rewaj Performers School. She has toured in Bangladesh and abroad, and is a recipient of several national and international awards, notably the National Competition Award by Shishu Academy (1980 and 1981), UNESCO Cultural Award (2000), N.H.K. Japan Prize (1988), and Ekota Award (2001 and 2003), amongst others.
