Alif Laila

Alif Laila is one of the few internationally recognized performing female sitarists. She was trained in Indian Classical music in Dhaka, Bangladesh, by the late Ustad Mir Qasem Khan. She has performed at numerous stages including, the India International Center in New Delhi, and the Smithsonian at Washington. Laila has recorded and released seven CDs and two DVDs and has composed and performed with jazz saxophone and the cello.
