Brajeswar Mukherjee

Brajeswar Mukherjee is a notable classical vocalist from India. He was initiated into music by his parents and later continued to train under the guidance of Asit Roy of Bishnupur gharana. He is presently a disciple of Pandit Ajoy Chakrabarty. Mukherjee has toured in India and abroad. He is a recipient of Ustaad Bismillah Khan Yuva Puraskar, Gaanvardhan Award, Dhananjay Bhattacharya Award, and the Shrutinandan Puaraskar. Mukherjee is presently a teacher at ITC Sangeet Research Academy and Shrutinandan – a music institution established by Pandit Ajoy Chakrabarty.
