Murtuza Kabir

Murtuza Kabir Murad is the son of late Dr. Ali Ahmed and Latifa Ahmed. He started his music career in 1985 by learning Tabla from Ustad Khandaker Khairul Anam, with whom he trained for eight years. He also learned how to play the flute from Ustad Alauddin. He trained in flute with Ustad Shamsur Rahman for six years in Dhaka and matured into an A-grade flute player on BTV and radio.
